Crestliner’s Active Performance (AP-X) Hull has won a Boating Industry Top Products Award, which recognizes “the marine industry's best new and innovative products.” The AP-X hull features an innovative recessed pad design creating instant lift for an accelerated holeshot while actively channeling a continuous flow of water to the prop, increasing efficiency and maximizing engine thrust.
2020 has started out strong for Crestliner as the company won an NMMA Innovation Award at the Minneapolis Boat Show in January and its 14th consecutive CSI award.
“We are honored to receive Boating Industry’s Top 2020 Product Award for our AP-X Hull design,” said Jack Martin, Crestliner General Manager. “Available on our 1850 Raptor, 1850 and 1950 Sportfish models, this hull brings a new level of Deep-V performance that we are excited to bring to boaters this season. I want to thank everyone at Crestliner including our Product Category and New York Mills teams for this award.”
The AP-X hull’s dual tracking edges deliver additional control and responsive handling creating a smooth, dry ride. The hull’s design also offers improved tracking at trolling speed. A full-length keel integrates seamlessly into the hull from bow to stern, providing maximum strength and performance. The AP-X, U.S. Patent Pending, hull is engineered for hardcore anglers and recreational boaters alike to deliver an enhanced on-the-water experience.
